Charlie & Alex married last summer at the beautiful St Andrews Church and the reception later at The Old School Rooms, Chew Magna.
Charlie chose a bespoke design by Ryley & Flynn made with beautiful duchess satin for a classic bridal look with a separate lace jacket which could be taken off for the evening reception, giving 2 quite different looks to the dress! Charlie also requested a hand made elbow length veil to match her dress.
Congratulations to Kristyn and Paul who were married earlier this month in Houghton, Australia. Kristyn sent some beautiful photos of their big day which were taken at Tea Tree Gully, simply perfect!
Kristyn picked our Dotty Silk tea length dress but chose to customize it with a bespoke pleated skirt finished with an overlayer of spotty silk orgaza. As Kristyn was in Adelaide all her fittings were done by post which solved the problem of us both being on opposite sides of the planet!!
Congratulations to Kerry and Hubby who got married this summer in a little venue overlooking the Cathedral in the centre of Seville, with photos taken after a carriage ride to the Plaza de Espana surrounded by tourists and Spaniards shouting 'bravo' - sounds so perfect!
Kerry chose a custom dress made in pale pink silk with a full tulle skirt, accented with black lace appliques and a black lace jacket for a little extra cover, while her bridesmaids wore matching silk halterneck dresses in co-ordinating colours.
Sarah chose a bespoke Ryley & Flynn 1950s style tea length gown in ivory silk with lashings of tulle and pretty lace applique finishing the skirt!
The dress flew half way around the world to Brisbane, Australia where Sarah & Jason married in an adorable little white chapel in Paddington (Latrobe Chapel) - just perfect. Adding to the vintage feel the they held their reception at The Inchcolm, a heritage-listed hotel in Spring Hill.
Congratulations to Sylvia & Edward who were married at The Faversham in Leeds this summer.
Sylvia chose a gown based on our popular Dotty dress, we gave it a slight twist with a silk organza spotty overlay with the tiniest cap sleeves - just perfect over the ivory silk fabric underneath!
(The VW Camper adds a pefect vintage touch to the day too!)
Stephanie contacted me with a very specific design in mind - her dress was to have a pale grey skirt with an ivory bodice and overlay and should be the dress of her dreams!
During the first consultation fabrics were looked at (and played with!) and we decided that the dress would look better with white fabric rather than ivory, and complimented her very sparkly shoes perfectly. Stephanie (and her mum!) decided on a v neck for the back of the bodice, finished with pure white satin binding around the neck and sleeves. The dress was finished with a white petticoat trimmed in grey satin and a shiny silver belt.
Stephanie and Hubby held their ceremony at Hertford Castle in Hertfordshire, and looking at the pictures I've just received it looks like they had a beautiful day!
Check out these fab spotty dresses that gorgeous bride Lisa ordered, after making 8 bridesmaids dresses in various sizes I was definitely seeing spots (and red net!)
I just had to share these gorgeous photos with you all!
Sarah got married this summer in a custom version of The Kelly Dress. She chose pretty ivory corded lace for the V neck overlay on top of beautiful ivory silk dupion for the dress itself. Little touches added a pop of colour - the bright red polka dot belt and shoe bows along with oodles of pale blue fluffyness in the petticoat.
This pretty dress was commissioned by a bride getting married just after Christmas in Scotland - sounds so romantic! Made with gorgeous guipure lace and silk - finished with a satin hemmed petticoat to give a perfect 50's shape!
I'm so in love with this fab pastel fabric! It is so delicate with the tiniest white spots, very subtle! The bride has decided on 2 dresses in each style for her 4 adult bridesmaids, and matching large polka dot bows for her flower girls! The look is completed with ivory 3 layer Alice underskirts cheekily peeking out from below the hems!
So, Sharon is back from her honeymoon has has sent me so many photographs of her beautiful Greek wedding, I think of Mama Mia every time I look at them - just fabulous!
(Sharon chose a custom Lola-Rose dress with lace overlay and her bridesmaids wore Lola-Rose dresses in Liberty blue silk) Thanks to Sharon and Hubby for sharing with us.......
I was super excited this morning when I got up to find a sneak preview of Sharon's wedding sent to me! (Thanks Sharon!!)
Sharon and hubby got married yesterday on the Greek island of Rhodes in a little chapel bathed in wonderful sunshine - so romantic! Congratulations to you both!
Sharon chose a custom Lola-Rose dress in ivory silk with a pretty ivory lace overlay, and for her bridesmaids Lola-Rose dresses in beautiful Liberty blue silk.......
Jane first contacted me through my Etsy shop and ordered 3 custom 1950's style bridesmaids dresses, (including a maternity dress) all made in matching pink floral cotton. Not too long after I was very honored when she asked me to make her wedding dress too, after many late night emails the details were decided and The Fremont Dess was commissioned!
The dress was inspired by Grace Kelly's character in the film The Rear Window, and was to be sublte but "quite dreamy and romantic"! Jane chose shell pink silk for her dress with a fabulous overlay of fluffy tulle (pink underneath and ivory on the top), with a 4 layer pink underskirt to match.
Jane got married in the wonderful June sunshine at Hereford Town Hall and has sent me these absolutely gorgeous photographs:
"We had a truly perfect day...the weather was wonderful....and everyone thought the dresses were gorgeous. We were married at Hereford Town Hall, and the reception was held at The Castle House Hotel also in Hereford" - Jane x
