How To Order A Dress

Ryley & Flynn Vintage will be taking a break from sewing for a while
and will not be taking any new orders for the next few months !
Ordering a dress from Ryley & Flynn Vintage is easy!
Your dress will be made to order, using measurements that you provide. Ideally you should order your dress at least 6 months before your wedding date, however please contact us as soon as possible so we can check our order schedule.
Once you have contacted us to place your order a 50% non-refundable deposit will be required (if your wedding is more than 6 months away) with the balance payable on completion of your dress. (Or you can pay in full by purchasing a dress from our online shop!)
If your wedding is more than 12 months ahead then a small deposit will confirm your order and book your place in our diary, with 50% of the remaining balance payable when work on your dress is started, and the remaining 50% balance is payable upon completion of your dress.
The Order Process
When you first contact us we will have a consultation (either by visiting us or by email) to discuss your design, the fabrics you would like and any extra details you would like added to your dress (for example an organza overlay, 3/4 length sleeves, lace appliqúe etc) plus any design alterations you would like to have made.
A quote will be made for the design and once the details are agreed and the deposit made, work will start on your dress!
Your measurements will be needed and we recommend taking them with the underwear that you will be wearing on your wedding day (you'd be surprised how much a corset or basque can alter your body shape!) Your dress will be made to the measurements you provide.
If you are unable to visit us for fittings due to distance then we can make a toile pattern first for a small extra charge, (a test dress made in plain fabric) which you can try on at home to check the fit, to which any alterations can be made before we start on your dress.
Fabric will be sourced and samples can be sent to you for approval if required.
Upon completion of your dress the remainder of your balance will be due, and once received your dress will be posted out to you in our beautiful packaging.
Although your dress will be made to measurements supplied we cannot guarantee a perfect fit (unless we have fitted your dress!) and we recommend you book a fitting with your local seamstress just before your wedding for any small alterations that may be required - please note this cost is not covered by Ryley & Flynn Vintage.
All Ryley & Flynn dresses are cut and made by hand, here in Tamworth, Staffordshire. As they are cut to order dresses are non refundable and non returnable, however due to our detailed order process we are sure you will be thrilled with your dress.

We understand if you change your mind and want to cancel an appointment, but please be curteous and let us know if you are not coming - we won't be offended!
Flexible payment options are available upon request as are rush orders.
UK Post & Packing costs are included in the price of your wedding dress.
